DAN 01/DAY 01

KRENULI SMO

Beograd (SRB), Aerodrom Nikola Tesla, 18h.

Ja sam ovde prvi put, jako sam uzbuđen, jedva čekam more i sutrašnji ronilački dan.

OFF WE GO

Belgrade (SRB). Nikola Tesla Airport, 6:00 PM. The long-awaited trip is about to start. Our crew is impatient: Radomir Saicic, Goran Pejicic, Uros Kojic and me, your blogger Uros Nikolic. Check in, mothers crying, no turning back. Duty free zone and "Teachers Whiskey" to calm us.

Our sunny flight turned into a beautiful sunset. The Pilot's kids, it turned out, love swimming with fins so we were invited to share our experiences with their dad in the cockpit. A little chat with turbulence, one fear less for me. I can freedive to the bottom of the sea but cannot ride the air comfortably.

We landed in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt, and took a cab 90 kilometers away to Dahab. We arrived around 1:00 AM to the Hotel Octopus where the smiley manager, Nasar was waiting for us.
I didn't sleep. Blue Hole is ringing in my ears. I'm here for the first time
and am SO excited - I can hardly wait to experience the sea and our first dive.
